Hope your February has been good so far!
Whether you hit the goals you set for yourself at the beginning of the year, or have fallen off track, know that you can readjust at any moment.
For instance,
I was very excited about winning a golden ticket to compete in the semi-finals of the Great American Speak-Off.
I flew to Florida last week with the full intention of winning.
However, as I got to meet the fellow contestants, I began to notice just how amazing everyone was.
I started networking and the more we exchanged information, the more I realized this was what the competition was all about.
Yes, 5 people were going to win the grand prize of speaking on a large stage at a well known business conference,
but just be being fully present, and being willing to share openly about what I did and my goals,
I was able to attract the attention of people who wanted to collaborate.
I didn't win the grand prize, but I still won stages and opportunities to advance in life.
So don't be married to how something is supposed to look.
