Somebody was talking about you...

I hate to break it to you,

But I realize that someone has been seriously downplaying your skills.

It's almost like they don't know how truly wonderful you are.

How skillful you've become over the years.

How miraculous your journey has been to get you to this point.

How relentless you are to still be going despite the times when you had to pause and pivot before starting again.

I see you, and it excites me to know that you're betting on yourself.

However, because I respect you, and what you're doing for the world with your gifts, I have to let you know that...

You've been selling yourself short.

Every time you criticize yourself,

bring up your past mistakes,

call yourself stupid,

or doubt that you're ready for the next step,

your inner being cries a little.

That's why it hurts so much, and why your own thoughts can be paralyzing.

Even if you don't say it aloud, you heard it.

I know, because I had a habit of downplaying myself as well.

The nicer you are to yourself, the more decisive you will become.

Rebuilding self-trust takes time, but you got this!

And I believe in you.
